I hate see him quit basketball for the apparent reason he loves the game. I think one way or another he will play, whether it be at Mason County or somewhere else. But you must learn there are consequences.

He did not quit. He was going to transfer during the summer. Big difference than what happened this time.

It's such a waste to lose a young man with such athletic ability, could have gotten an athletic scholarship for college if he could have gotten his head screwed on right and the right priorities for academics and personal responsibilities. Tough parenting situation, raising children these days. No criticism, I knew his mother growing up, just sad that this has happened.

Mason Co has been sending the wrong message to players for years by their past actions or lack there of in many cases. This comes from the board of Ed down through central office to inside each school.
