Mason County Loses Key Player

Featured Replies

Mason County seemed to play well without Kumler, Perkins and Garrison quit. Maybe him leaving is addition by subtraction?

Could be a blessing in disguise by opening up an opportunity for a younger player to step up with a chance they didn't think they'd get.

All 3 quit?

All 3 quit?

Only Garrison, Kumler and Perkins will be back.

I thought Garrison quit. I'm confused. Kumler and Perkins quit also or those 3 are all juniors?

Garrison is off the team, he's a junior, Perkins is also a junior out with injury, kumler is out with injury and is a freshman. Hope that clears up any confusion,

I don't think this will hurt the Royals. Honestly watching Garrison, he was one of the most selfish players I've ever watched. Yelling at teammates, disrespecting the coaches. Garrison has a rude awakening coming if he tries to play anywhere else.

Would make it harder for Bracken to win the district also, right?

My god man you don't stop do you? This has nothing to with BC. What would you even bring that up in this thread? We all get it you have a fetish for Bracken Co and can't wait for them to loose so you can take your shots but it's time to give it a rest.

If you spent half as much time supporting your school as you spend trying to bash on the BC faithful you would be the #1 fan at Campbell Co.

Looks now like Leevi Dunaway has a ton of weight to carry. Just a junior leading a very young group.

I also saw him make mistakes during the game and he would say "My bad" to his coach and team, sometimes even if it wasn't his fault.

Is it true there weren't 100 people at the LexCath game last night?

For a gym that seats 5000, certainly not a lot of support right now.

High school basketball's biggest enemy is time right now. Attendance in the state has been falling for years. Kids no longer watching basketball, they would rather sit at home and play games on TV and be on their phones. However I do agree it seems more so with Mason County. I think they should play some games at the downtown gym.

Yes. That helps. I got scared for a second. Without disclosing the injuries will Perkins and Kumler be back this season or are they season ending injuries? Big fan of Perkins. I think his best basketball is yet to come.

There was more than that but the crowds have been way down at home and on the road. Probably 300-400 last night.
