PP, I love discussing sports and politics with you but you are way off on this one. They do generally do what WE say but cannot abide by the idiocy of Obama and Kerry when it comes to the Middle East. It is about their survival. Obama goes out of his way to do an absolutely ridiculous and secretive deal with Iran (probably our worst enemy) and literally pays Iran billions of dollars in cash in the middle of the night when he knows that some of that money will be funneled into the hands of terrorists. He also knows that Iran has sworn to do everything in its power to destroy Israel.

 

I cannot stand HRC but there is no way she would have allowed this to happen if she were president. Also, Obama is such a coward in the way he is doing it. There is NO WAY he does this if HRC won because he would not want her to have to deal with the fall out. This is just him being vindictive on his way out the door. He hates Bibi so he is throwing a grenade at him. If he had guts, he would have done this years ago when he would have to deal with the aftermath. He has many R's AND D's mad at him right now. Noted liberal Alan Dershowitz was just KILLING him on the news today. Schumer and even Wasserman-Schultz are not happy with him. This is going to cause real problems for a lot of folks.

I've admitted I don't know much about foreign policy. I think it is weird we trust some countries and they are our allies and others aren't. Isn't Israel putting up settlements on land that is in dispute as to who the land belongs to? Aren't we as Americans concerned about Americans first and then everyone else? I'm worried about my family and friends. I don't care about Israel or anyone else on the other side of the oceans. You know why we have so many issues overseas with other countries? Because we always stick our nose in business in places that don't concern us. They want to fight over some land go right ahead. Why should I care if Israel and Palestine want to fight over some land? I don't. Not one iota.

I am not well-versed in the intricacies of our relationship with Israel through the years. However, my understanding (without a lot of depth to it) says that President Bush may have also had some issues with Israel regarding occupation and threatened Israel financially. I can't imagine that as complicated as the Israel situation is that it's always been smooth sailing with previous administrations.

 

So for those who are saying this is unique or this administration is unique in regards to Israel educate us (or just me) on how this administration is different than others.

First site that come up talked about President Obama's strong support of Israel through words and actions. No clue who this site is. No clue if they are slanted. I throw this out for something for us to chew on when discussing this administration and Israel.
