December 15, 20169 yr Author NO!!! 2016 has sucked. Just heard Rod Carew is going in for a Heart and Kidney Transplant this week.
December 15, 20169 yr Lot of courage, that guy, Sager. I'd love to see his casket decorated like one of his sports coats. I say this with all respect.
December 15, 20169 yr Heard him on Mike and Mike just a couple or three weeks ago, seemed pretty upbeat (like always). RIP
December 16, 20169 yr One can't imagine how TOUGH he was...to fight cancer that long, that hard, still being professional at his job, still with a smile on his face.... Unbelievable. What an example to the rest of us.
December 16, 20169 yr One can't imagine how TOUGH he was...to fight cancer that long, that hard, still being professional at his job, still with a smile on his face.... Unbelievable. What an example to the rest of us. Yep. Dude was a trooper. Routinely he would go in for treatments in the morning and would muster up the strength to put a smile on his face and work the same day. I have such admiration for people that live life to its fullest like Sager.
December 16, 20169 yr The fact that he worked through what he fought through....Nothing but admiration for him.
December 16, 20169 yr Had the pleasure of meeting him a long time ago. He was his own biggest fan. Did enjoy his work and his Christmas cards though. RIP
