Who are some of the top all-around players in the state this year?

Scott Gray out of Ryle had 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions last week against NCC (I think). That's dominating both sides.

Ben Revere of Lex Cath against Scott Co. had 2 ints,99 yard kickoff return, and 2 recieving tds

Doug Beaumont plays RB, WR, LB, FS and returns kicks for Male. Pretty darn good at it, too.

Vic Anderson is obviously very very good and might be the #1 college prospect in the state; however, if I were picking a high school team I think I would take Beaumont over Anderson.

 

Althought this argument might be just splitting hairs. Both are very very good.

He doesn't play defense, but pound for pound (to use the boxing term), Jordan Kramer is as good as anyone.

My favorite players may not be on the level of a Vic Anderson, but they play the game with miles of heart.

 

Chris Maggard - North Laurel (averaging over 100 yards per game, never comes off the field on offense, defense or special teams, one of the teams leading tacklers, has interceptions, fumble recoveries, etc). He is everywhere!

 

Logan Baker - South Laurel - after making a game winning interception against Corbin, had 3 TD's against Southwestern in the Cards HUGE upset win on Friday.

Aaron Root from Williamsburg gets my vote. Averaging around 15 tackles a game and has proven to be a hard nosed runner with good hands and surprising speed for the Jackets from the fullback slot.

I was very impressed with Kramer in the St X game. He kind of reminds me of a small wide receiver Purdue had a few years ago named Vinny Sutherland.

WenQuel Graves - Bardstown. Has 4 TD's as wide receiver (on a team that doesn't throw much), 1 running the ball in, 1 on a kick return, 1 on an interception return from his DB position. The proverbial "guy you have to get touches."
