December 5, 20169 yr How does one recruit like crazy to West Lafayette, IN? Just confine your recruiting to engineering majors. Shouldn't be that hard.
December 5, 20169 yr That is about what I thought it would be. He probably more than double that at UC. If anyone thinks he would not have left WKU for UC, I think they are wrong. I disagree, I think Brohm would've stayed at WKU rather than take the Cincinnati job.
December 5, 20169 yr 20 Million gets you and your family set for life. Can't say no to that regardless of the location. I wish Coach Brohm the best of luck!
December 5, 20169 yr I disagree, I think Brohm would've stayed at WKU rather than take the Cincinnati job. Interesting. I guess my view of WKU is a lot different than everyone else's. Or maybe our views of UC differ. For me, UC is clearly a notch above WKU. The AAC as a conference is clearly a notch above for me. I just don't see those two schools being near the same level.

WKU beats UC by 2 scores.... going from WKU to UC would have been lateral at best
December 5, 20169 yr It won't be that hard. You clearly don't understand recruiting then. That's good to know. If you don't think recruiting to Purdue is insanely hard then is it even worth discussing recruiting with you?
December 5, 20169 yr Just confine your recruiting to engineering majors. Shouldn't be that hard. Yeah not hard at all. Then if they are good enough you just have to hope they don't choose Cal, Stanford, Georgia Tech, or Michigan. What is left over Purdue gets. Haha
December 5, 20169 yr I'd love to know why Purdue over Baylor, Houston, Cincy. Not sure we will ever find out but that intrigues me. I would say because it's a lot closer than Baylor and he wasn't really interested in the other two.
December 6, 20169 yr Author I would say because it's a lot closer than Baylor and he wasn't really interested in the other two. I think money and then location had the most to do with his decision.
December 6, 20169 yr Brian Brohm is going as offensive coordinator. Assistants are going to get a big pay increase. Drew Breese has spearheaded getting the stadium better. The Purdue president, Mitchell Daniels is on board. It is a terrific school to get a job after graduation. People who go there love the atmosphere. And Scotty's Brewhouse...
December 6, 20169 yr Didn't realize it was that high but ya. I have always liked Purdue. I think he can win there. It won't be easy but he's pretty well connected.
December 6, 20169 yr I forgot to add, Purdue has the 1869 Tap Room in Memorial Union, an endeavor supported by the Department of Food Science.
