Yeah, that offense really isn't very intimidating if you play disciplined defense.

 

 

It's been a huge if for many well before our time, during and will be long after we are gone.

It sounds like preparing to face this offense, and developing/refining the skills to stop it, could pay dividends for the future.

It is the perfect offense for highly disciplined players.....which is why I always enjoy watching Navy play. 3rd and long is not a passing down...it is an execution down.

My first thought is, have you MET any UK fans before?? While we can remain skeptical, we still have over-optimistic hope.

Kentucky is solid or they wouldn't be in the TaxSlayer Bowl.

This game has the potential to have the same flow as the UK/UL game. Neither defense is very good, but both offensives have the ability to put up points. It will come down to which defense can make a stop or two. I think UK's defense will perform better than GT's defense, while UK won't blow them out, they'll find a way to win a tough, possibly "ugly" game.

The long scoring drives from GT is what worries me most about this game. UK is capable of quick scores, which may cause the already thin UK defense to spend way too much time on the field. I expect UK's defense to be gassed by the start of the 4th quarter unless they can get some quick stops on defense or longer than usual scoring drives from the offense.
