Congrats to Jr.

I'm not calling for giving him the ball every game............unless he is hot every game. :lol2:

Scott Draud! The was always coach Shields game plan. Wish he had a 3 point line in his day.

Allen was 17/31 overall. 4/9 from 3. 13/22 from the line.

Rest of team was 5/22 from the field.

13-22 from the FT line hurts, but the Pendleton County AD says Allen opened the gym this morning.

We should be talking about Ohmers 40 that won instead of Allen's 50 that lost.

Both need to be talked about IMO.

How long did this game last? Sounds like it may have been a pretty long time.......2 OT's and lots of Free Throws.......

Just 1 OT. Game was over around 9:30 I believe.

Ohmer missed out on a triple double by two assist.

Officially had 40 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assist.

I always love to see great players go toe to toe with all they got to get a W. Talent only takes you so far.........heart and pride get you over the finish line

Damn 50 pts.. wow!

Both need to be talked about IMO.

You get a 50 piece and a 40 piece for $5. You can't even get that deal at McDonald's!

As he does every morning.

PC was missed my Dennie and Yelton. They'll be just fine.

What a game. Two years in a row of OT between these teams. Allen is a special player, while Allen may be able to carry them in District he needs a supporting cast to win the Region. He can't do it all him self. Still a talented player, not doging his skills. Allen will have multiple games with 50+ because simply teams cannot guard him without sending him to the line. On the other hand Ohmer can score whenever he wants and has the purest 3pt stroke I've ever seen. Fun game to watch.

They are both special players, and I hope that is not the last time they are on the same floor. Dontaie does have exceptional physical gifts, but he does truly work his tail off to maximize them.

Jake and Dontaie are both good kids who work hard and play within the team game plan. I find it unfortunate that some would criticize them because they are, on most possessions, their team's best option to score. I have yet to see either one of them take a shot when they had a teammate in a better position to score.

Congratulations to both of them. I hope they both continue to play the same way.

Sounds like both of them are very fortunate to have coaches that will allow them to maximize their talents.

This is true. What is also is they have coaches who are lucky to have the talents of Ohmer and Allen. Hats off to the coaches for letting these kids play.
