November 26, 20169 yr Hopefully OSU and Michigan both make it to the playoff but doubtful. A bad spot will cost the Wolverines a chance at the title. Tough call. The arm that the ball was in was leading and it looked like it got right to the line. Since it was OT it just had to reach, not break, the 15. It looked like that is what happened given the angle of the ball carrier's shoulder. I don't think you could see it well enough to overturn it. One of those plays that was going to stand as called originally--whichever way it went.

I think we could have said the same thing if the call on the field was that he was short. There would have no visual evidence saying he got it either. I would have loved to see OSU fans reactions on here though if the original call was short and the replay stood. Probably would have been the same as Wireman if the roles were reversed.
November 26, 20169 yr Yesss Sir ! :lol2: What a game ! I think that this one will be one in a long line of classic "Urban / Jim" Battles. OSU, with the mistakes that they made should have lost this one but they did what good football teams / programs do when they are up against a wall vs. a good team .... the Bucks reached back a found a way to win, made the plays needed. OSU's defense imo was key and kept #5 in check enough to not let him beat them. Both OSU and the team up North left it all on the field. GO Bucks !! Now .. Go MSU .....beat PSU.

November 26, 20169 yr OSU kicker had to be the most relieved man on the planet when Samuel scored on the last play. I cannot imagine how devastated he as a senior would be if OSU lost his last game against Michigan in large part to his missing two short FG's. I am so happy for him... Nugent must have given him a pre game pep talk.
