Just skimmed through Kyle Griffin's tweets because I had never heard of him. It did not take long for me to conclude that he is a left wing extremist with no regard for the truth. I saw quotes of CAIR's complaints about Trump. I learned that he is the producer of The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC. In a nutshell, he is not somebody who I would cite as an authoritative source on any subject.

 

You misinterpreted the tweet then. All Kyle Griffin did was retweet what John Kasich's top strategist, John Weaver, tweeted out. Don't pay attention to Kyle Griffin. Pay attention to John Weaver. Known as @JWGOP on twitter.

 

The only reason Kyle Griffin is on there is because he is pointing out who John Weaver is.

I would have quoted John weaver. Nobody associated with MSNBC and that idiot Larry O'Donnell is going to have much credibility among conservatives.

 

It seems to me that if having an alt-right media, anti-Semitic type as a political adviser is an issue for liberals, you would have been demanding that Valerie Jarrett be ousted from Obama's inner circle. There seems to be a considerable inconsistency in accepting Jarrett's role as an adviser for 8 years and trying to pick off Trump's advisers before he is sworn in.

 

If you want conservatives to agree with your Trump bashing, then criticize him for naming Reince Priebus as his Chief of Staff. Trump voters who thought they were striking a blow against the RINOs running the GOP must be disappointed at that decision. I am not surprised, but I am disappointed myself.

 

As for Bannon, attacks on him just appear to be the first of what will be a series of smears against Trump's picks. Unfortunately, Bannon transformed the Breitbart brand from a respected conservative news website into part of the media wing of Trump's campaign. I quit reading it for that reason.

I have spent so much time criticizing Trump in another forum, I am honestly a bit burned out. I am trying to keep an open mind about him, but naming Priebus as his CoS was a big slap in the face to Ted Cruz supporters and other conservatives. I just don't believe that liberals criticizing anybody for being anti-Semitic have any credibility if they stayed silent for eight years while Valerie Jarrett gave political advice to Obama.

 

I really do not understand why liberals are so upset about Trump being elected. He is a close personal friend of the Clintons and he has been a liberal Democrat for most of his adult life. He criticized Romney's position on illegal immigration as being too harsh in 2012. During his first TV interview on Sunday with 60 minutes he said that the Clintons are good people who he does not want to hurt.

 

I hope that I am wrong, but I believe that Trump is closer to Bill Clinton politically than he is to George W. Bush. Liberals should be ecstatic that Trump was elected instead of a conservative Republican. Yet, they are already taking pot shots at his appointees, two months before he takes office. If liberals are perceived to not be giving Trump a fair chance, there will be a backlash against them among moderates and independents. The people who should be complaining right now are conservatives.
