Hillary Clinton lost the election but her mud slinging brigade of character assassins are off to a running start. Did anybody else read David Horowitz's defense of Bannon? I know that all the liberal blogs and websites are quoting each other in united front against the suddenly evil Bannon, but does the account of his Jewish friend, Horowitz, count for nothing? Does the fact that he is a conservative and a strong supporter of Israel disqualify disqualify Horowitz as a character reference?

 

Bannon has been an active member of the media. There should be reams of racist, anti-Semitic blogs and articles that he has written. Where are they?

Just watched an interview where Alan Dershowitz defended Bannon. He said the Left is too eager to engage in name calling and mud slinging without knowing the truth.

Bannon's name and this so-called 'movement' are certainly tied together. I still can not figure who the alt right is except for a label for those who are 'conservative' but have contempt for the beltway Repubs and the RINOs. Young, born-on-the-web, they do not watch CNN or FOX. They like to ridicule and make points via memes. They despise anything that is PC or favors certain people characteristics (i.e. Quotes, reserved spots, scaled entry criteria.) So I think that is supposed to define the 'alt-right' - I think.

 

Now throw a supposed leader who has said things are are definitely odd, harsh, in many ways and, at best, controversial and it seems you get a ghost movement that apparently get caught in the MSM, Salon, Huffpost, Media Matters, DailyKOS echo chamber. And liberal writers then have new terms and new villians to write about.

 

Bannon has said some really stupid/bad/harsh things. He seems to have Jew problem from his childhood, he gave an overly long reason why the fringe elements would identify with this supposed movement, seems he has some domestic violence in his past (or alleged I should save as the charges were dropped).

 

I doubt that the 'alt-right' will be trying to sponsor a KKK float in the 4th of July parade or get a permit for a march in Skokei. If there is an alt right movement it would seem to be a ghost army.

 

I am not sure why Trump picked Bannon. Supposedly to have a non-establishment guy to balance all the insiders. But the guy does come with baggage. Some heavy baggage.
