A meme that then 2 days later and two weeks before ADLs sudden condemnation of poor Pepe was featured in a Clinton Campaign hit piece that was part of the official campaign website.

 

As noted above and from what I have found Brietbart ran the one editorial on 'alt-right'. Seems that is it.

 

What is the alt-right? Still not sure. Maybe its sort of this guy. He likes making cutting videos; likes memes; seems in the clip t be pro-2A; but is also pro LGBT and definitely not 'establishment'.

But in fairness PP92, people can take one of your positions and take it to the extreme. Me for instance, immigration, wanting a secure border in and out of itself is not racist. Other people might want tougher immigration because they want people of a certain color from not entering the USA. I am like them? HELL NO! However, like you said, we live in an incredibly sensitive racial environment and we should carefully examine any one that becomes a member of the west wing helping any president-elect. I will keep a watchful eye on Mr. Bannon. I don't blame you for feeling threatened or scared by how Trump ran his campaign and the certain people excited about his election win.

Certainly it seems 'alt-right' has been converted, co-opted or weaponized at this point. And if some of the extreme fringe radical groups want to use it while the MSM wants to use their using it then the term is sort of doomed to be looked at as evil. Oh well. Everyone needs the labels.

 

Not sure what the 'normalization' is. The radical fringes are not going to going away overnight but they should never be embraced or made part of the big tent. So I hope that is not what is meant by normalization. But they can co-opt or try to embrace mainstream functions to give themselves credibility.

 

You know that I know there is still work to do. Things may be better than 20-30 years ago for racial issues. But its not done. Not sure that anything was made better the last 8 years. But even if it was there would still be work to do.

The Black Panthers that I know and respect were wiped out by the government. The New Black Panthers are not accepted or deemed as credible by anyone except for Fox News. Are we talking Huey Newton Black Panthers or are we talking about whoever is running the New Black Panthers in 2016? You need to clarify that so I can give you my answer. You can't just say Black Panthers to me and lump them all together. My knowledge of Black History is most likely one of the best on BGP so I need clarification. The Black Panthers of today are not and do not represent the Black Panthers of the 60s and 70s no matter how hard Fox News tells you to believe it.
