You are mistaking my intent then. My concern with Bannon lies with what people are saying about him as a person and what I am finding out on my own about him. I have no clue what he means to Israel. I do know he is being labeled a white nationalist with a history of anti-semitism. You aren't concerned about a man being in one of the most powerful positions in the country having at the least a questionable background that people are saying is white nationalism/white supremacist and I am. That concerns me deeply and was one of my fears of a Trump cabinet. Haven't some white people had concerns about Obama's administration the past 8 years and their moral compasses? Now it is my turn to be concerned. The more I am finding the more I am troubled but hopefully Preibus can keep him in line.

 

I trust that when it comes to Israel Trump will do what he is told to do.

My concerns with the Obama administration's moral compass were mostly with Obama himself. I recall dire predictions when Trump placed Bannon and Conway in charge of his campaign, none of which materialized. I give most credit for Trump's victory to Conway, but Bannon must have done the job that Trump hired him to do or he would have cut him loose.

 

One thing that I do blame Bannon for is destroying one of my favorite conservative websites by turning it into a Trump campaign cheer leading site. I admired Andrew Breitbart very much and he would never have supported Trump over the conservative candidates in the race, and he would never forfeited the integrity of Breitbart News to help elect any Republican candidate by engaging in character assassination of his or her Republican rivals.

 

That being said, who Trump wants to appoint to his inner circle is his business. I am much more interested in who he appoints to his cabinet and other positions that require Senate confirmation. If he appoints a political hack like Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch to serve as Attorney General or incompetent boobs like John Kerry or Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State, then I will not hesitate to share your concern.

 

I am already concerned about the names being floated as Attorney General. Trey Gowdy talks a good game, but the truth is he accomplished very little in pressing the case against Hillary Clinton and her minions. Judicial Watch did the heavy lifting with its aggressive pursuit of FOIA requests that opened the floodgates of Hillary Clinton's illegal, unsecure server and the email messages that she tried to hide.

 

I expect that the character attacks on Bannon are the first of many to come. Don't worry, Trump's popularity will plummet as soon as the Trump University fraud trial gets underway and the media devotes 24-7 coverage to it. There are so many real and potential lawsuits involving Trump's companies, I am sure that the left wing media will be represented at every hearing of every pending action.

 

A fish rots from the head. I am hoping that the head of the Trump administration is not as rotten as the head of the Obama administration was. If it is, then it won't matter to me who Trump names to his staff.

Just throw his name in Google or in the twitter search engine. Plenty of stuff out there. Including statements in court documents that he made in court.

This is what I'm seeing so far. It seems more a strategic move to bound the Republicans together considering he was being recommended by the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. I will continue to look for an anti-semitic stance by him. If you're right PP92, alongside with the VP-elect's stance on LGBT it is worrisome. I'm not gonna pull a Van Jones and say this was a "white-lash". Considering many people who voted for Pres. Obama once and twice voted for Trump, my curiosity is what people were willing to look over in order to give a middle finger to the "establishment".

Soon, he could possibly have the Supreme Court. Plus, in 2018, I believe I read out of 34 seats, the D's have to defend 28 of them. He'll balance the cabinet. He knows what he is doing.

He has impressed me so far with his victories even though I cannot stand the man and how he ran his campaign. His selection of Stephen Bannon as a high ranking official is troubling. I do remain hopeful that he can be a successful POTUS and for some reason I feel better about the next 4-8 years. I saw quotes of CAIR's complaints about Trump. I learned that he is the producer of The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC. In a nutshell, he is not somebody who I would cite as an authoritative source on any subject.

I have always tried to give people a fair shake. I've tried to never label a person through opinions of others. I will look at Breitbart,listen to Bannon answer the tough questions and form my own opinion.
