I can't even defend this anymore, the stuff I am seeing on TV out of my generation is very disheartening. I really hope they grow up at some point and realize you can't take handouts throughout life. You have to work for what you want.

My wife commented last night that folks our age started it. Little Johnnie and Susie get participation trophies and learn its all about making friends and having fun. Folks there are winners and losers. Learn to deal with being both.

My college had a "candlelit gathering of peace and unity" last night to "regroup as a student body and move forward as a community" because of the "tensions and emotions from the election." I've seen dozens of facebook posts, Instagram pictures, and snapchat stories of my peers expressing their fears for the future and how they are for the first time not proud to be an American.

 

It's disturbing.

I don't get the coloring books and Play-Doh. Can't say that I ever noticed any of my fellow students using either of these back when I was in school.

Utterly pathetic......Some of these folks from this generation need a swift kick in the donkey!

And the vast vast majority of us went to work that did not vote for Trump and we actually had a relatively normal day. I don't get why anybody cares if a few don't. Why dwell on the negative reaction? By giving them any attention just reinforces their behavior.

Kinda hard for some to ignore it when they're getting drug from their cars and having their face pummeled.

Point is that there is a much different reaction from one side of the aisle than the other when things don't go their way. Yeah there will always be a few idiots that act out and do stupid stuff on the extremes of both sides, but I don't remember mass protest and riots over past elections when Democrats won, I don't remember colleges setting up comfort rooms for distressed students that are too upset to go to class. They have no idea what I am saying or thinking about them, it doesn't reinforce anything for those rioters on the west coast.
