One of the selected D linemen has 3 total tackles. Seems odd he would be selected.

The Kentucky Football Coaches Association used to be in charge of this game, I assume they still are.

Some kids might choose not to play considering the game is played in the middle of December. I know the game I went to and watched it was right around zero degrees.

He did all of the dirty work and took on blockers so his LB's could make all of the tackles.

Is he headed for the Ivy League?

No offense to the Ross kid at Ryle, but he doesn't even start at DL for them? He rotates in short yardage packages so I am curious how he got the nod on the DL. I thought he would be on the OL. If it were me, which doesn't mean much, I would put him on the OL and put Roksvag from Cooper on the DL. Again, not trying to take anything away from him, congrats to him on an awesome honor, just kind of curious as to how he got on the DL.

It would be a shame not to use him at receiver. He could easily be in the 1 spot on either side of the ball. Most electric receiver in the area by far if not the state.

The TE, Tyus Short, is an outstanding D Lineman. Hopefully he will get some time on the D Line. I am glad he made the team.
