The TE, Tyus Short, is an outstanding D Lineman. Hopefully he will get some time on the D Line. I am glad he made the team.

It might seem like i'm busting your chops, but i'm genuinely interested. I'm also not in a position that needs to be convinced. Some kids that are announced will end up backing out of the game and replacements will be called on and I know Jimmy has Buchanans number.

I don't know a lot of the kids picked and I am not here to say who should be removed. Look these linebackers up on KHSAA. One kid on here has 2 tackles which could be a typo. The highest amount of tackles for any kid on the list is 131 and only one kid on the list with over 100 tackles. Grayson had 76 tackles as a Freshmen.

Just so you are aware, tackles are awarded differently from team to team, some teams not at all and they are not an official khsaa stat. I do know that coaches send hudl video (several times more valuable than stats) in to Jimmy and the coaches involved in this game and coach B is a well respected member of the coaches association.

Aren't these very players nominated by their coaches then voted on by other coaches?? 153 tackles sounds impressive. But what type of tackles are they? Assist, solos, TFL? Show me a LB that's making plays behind the line of scrimmage and I'll show you a player...show me a LB making plays sideline to sideline and I'll show you a player. Show me a LB making tackles for 5-10 yd gains getting pile hopping assist and I'll show you a Saftey! Lol!
