Congrats to Somerset! I’m definitely a Mayfield fan. This was a great game that came down to inches. Sometimes you win the games sometimes you lose them. Both teams played with a lot of heart and left it on the field. The # 1 thing I noticed was a lot of sportsmanship during the game. This was not our year. However as long as you have Joe Morris we have a shot to be back in this game next year.

Congrats to Danville!! You had an outstanding team and very deserving of the WIN !! Mayfield can still hold their head high on an Outstanding season. It's not what we wanted the outcome to be however still very proud of these seniors and their contributions over the last 4 years. Thank you !!!

Yes I think you can get an injunction. But if you lose your case after the season and Beechwood goes on to win the championship this player may be ruled ineligible. So Beechwood's championship would be in jeapordy.

This should be a very interesting game. Both teams have strong traditions. I have Mayfield favored in this game if they play with the same intensity as they did against CAL. I have Mayfield winning this game Mayfield 24 to 21

I do understand officiating is a tough job and a thankless job. But when you have video evidence to prove otherwise after the fact and when a official actually doesn't see the play where they decide the fate of a young man we do have flaws and issues with officiating. So it will never be perfect. But as adults we need to make good decisions when we decide the fate of young men.

We will never know. It's very sad a senior football player and the leader of his team was kicked out of a game for playing hard Every single play. We can't go back and re do that call or the season. However hopefully KHSAA and officials are educated from this bad call on the field and at the KHSAA office following this ejection. So no other young man or his team has to go through this again. Mistakes happen but it takes a bigger man to over turn and admit to those mistakes.

The bad thing about players ejections that the KHSAA needs to educate the officials on the rules. Last year's Mayfield player # 4 was ejected for targeting and the rule clearly stated that targeting is not a ejection but a unsportsmanlike penalty and 15yards. The film was reviewed and not overturned. The film clearly showed no helmet was used in this hit. Officials watch to much TV and seem to mix rules up between NCAA and KHSAA.

I do know #16 Kyle Hurt is interested and does want to play at the next level. I don't think he has any offers as of now. Hopefully schools will offer soon. I would like to see him end up at Murray State with LB Kincer Arnett and RB Trajon Bright. It would be fun to watch these young man play together again.

I can tell the Aces one thing for sure if they have weaknesses on defense Joe Morris and his staff will expose them for sure.

Mayfield needs to stop Vonn Williams and Nick Mills. These two players seem to be the Aces go to guys. I'm pretty sure both of these players was hurt in last year's game and was unable to finish. I like this match up with our athletes.

This is not a ejectable play on top of that. Coaches from Owensboro Catholic was screaming at the refs eject eject #4. That's when the tossed him out of the game. Bottom line is O Catholic was getting there asses kicked and # 4 was everywhere on the field that night and they was trying to get any advantage they could in this game.

How much I think this kid was screwed over

Mayfield's linebacker # 4 Kincer Arnett will have to miss this week against CAL. The officials call helmet to helmet and was clearly not helmet to helmet after seeing the film.
