Louisville 32 Virginia 25

Final. Louisville avoids a major upset. They stepped up when it counted. Jackson is one heck of a player

Well it wasn't the statement they were looking for, but sometimes you just survive.

Cardinals are very fortunate to escape Charlottesville with the win. Without Jackson, they clearly didn't.

Probably a ding in the final 4 hopes, and a feather in the heisman cap for LJ.

Whew, thank you sweet Jesus!

I would’ve been so salty the rest of the weekend LOL

To me it shows just how hard it is to win week in and week out with college kiddos. You just never know how it’s gonna go down.

Amazing job Lamar….

Duke, now Virginia, might wanna dial it back a notch all the top teams UL would crush right now.

Louisville is a team of momentum. If they start fast, it's usually a blowout (see Charlotte, Cuse, FSU, NC State), if they don't, it's a slug fest (Marshall, Clemson, Duke, UVA). They have played down to their comp a few games this season and that is concerning. Lack of execution and entirely too many penalties. And for some reason, Lousiville is yet to play well on the road at Virginia since joining the league.

Ill gladly take the win and move forward.

Lamar distanced himself, again, from the Heisman field. That kid is special.

It is nearly impossible to blow out your division week in and week out in the Power 5. Louisville may blow out any of their remaining opponents but history says they'll go down to the wire against at least one more opponent, no matter how bad they are.

And in reality, the Michigan/MSU score was similar with MSU sporting a similar record to Virginia. It happens.

You all have been exposed just like we have, cheers!

UL needs to learn to respect each opponent and take the field ready to play hard and smart.
