UL has seemed to slow down since the Clemson loss. Still a solid squad but I wonder if the possibility of still making the playoff is looming large over their heads.

Such a frustrating team. Didn't adjust very well from a coaching standpoint for a long time to UVa's defensive rush. When they went to the quick hitters and ran the ball a bit, they were more successful.

OLine - yikes. Penalties & poor play. Jackson's escapability masks a lot of their poor play.

WRs - yikes. Quick? So much potential but soooo many holes in his game. Bonnafon had a key drop as well. Caught 2 TDs to make up for it. Is Dawkins (#5) also from Trinity? Staples, Samuel & Smith were good.

Hikutini - stud. Please continue to utilize his talents. Key grab on 4th down play.

#90 for UofL - stupid penalty on the 2 pt. conversion (never saw it on TV but they announced he took his helmet off). UVa let him off the hook by kicking it into the endzone, not running any clock and giving UofL the ball at the 20.

Clock Management - Petrino AWFUL decision not to call 1 of his last 2 TOs at 0:41 after Jackson took a hit. Didn't get next play off & over until 0:18 left. Either run the hurry up OR call TO. You can't take that much time off the clock in that situation.

RBs - can anyone hold onto the football? Radcliff was in the dog house for fumbles. Smith now in the dog house for same reason (although, in fairness, looked like a questionable read option mesh from Jackson). Bonnafon ran at least 1 play from RB.

Other than the 1st half against NC State, I assume you mean.

You get what I'm saying. They havent been the explosive team they were leading up to Clemson

As a whole, I agree. That half at NC St. was a thing of beauty though. Makes it look even worse when they perform poorly.

No denying that... when they're on, my goodness. But they've seemed to have fallen into a lull.

It's called conference play. Happens to every team except Bama this year I guess.
