October 1, 20169 yr Bengal Maniac mentioned Rodger Bird, the Corbin native and SEC legend at UK. His brother, Calvin, was some kind of college player as well. Calvin's UK teams('58,'59, and '60) beat Tennessee each year. Calvin scored every point that UK scored in the '58 and '59 games. Many oldtimers in town know this story: After the 1959 game in Lexington, which UK won 20-0 , with Calvin scoring all 20 points, residents in Corbin hung a sign on the overpass in town that read, "Bird 20 Tennessee 0 ." The UT team, on its way back to Knoxville from Lexington saw the sign as they passed through Corbin.
October 1, 20169 yr Troy Smith, Braxton Miller, Terelle Pryor, Ezekiel Elliott, Ted Ginn JR, James Lauranitis, AJ Hawk, Joey Bosa. I think out of all those Miller may take the crown as my favorite.
