My question for SK fans. How long do you think the school district will let SK grow in enrollment while Scott shrinks/remains stagnant? SK and Scott are apparently in district rivals but SK has nearly double Scott's enrollment. If I were an SK supporter, I'd be concerned about a major district realignment coming up in the next ten years. I have not heard anything and it may never happen, but it just seems at some point the Kenton County School District will have to do something to get kids going to Scott.

 

I'd love to see a geographic breakdown of students. I'm sure the nucleus of athletes comes from North and West. South has the most area but it's never been a predominant area for athletes due to the population.

 

Scott on the other hand is located in a much less rural area. Is the line still Cox Rd? If so how much deeper would they go considering you are within 3 or 4 miles of Simon.

The Miles Simpson era? You think Highlands ducked Simon Kenton during those years? You're right, they didn't want to play Simon Kenton during those years, so they played little schools like Colerain and Cincy St. X, among other notably better teams than Simon Kenton.

Why is that funny? It was either the Simpson era or the Simpson/Lawrence era. You immediately know when that was if you are a fan of the team. No different than mid '90s Boone being Alexander's era or '97-'98 being the Lorenzen/Smith era.

Not sure if it's still the same but Summit view used to be more of a feeder of SK and Dixie.

SK, Scott and Dixie. Summit View is 2 miles from SK and 5 or 6 from Scott.

"Title-less" would seem like a pretty accurate one was well.

That may be true if you are talking all together as one. But if you're talking elite within your class. There are some.

 

Again, it depends on how we define elite. Cause one could argue "what makes Male or St X elite?"

 

Until we agree on definition, we'll all have different opinions of what it is.
