I was wondering the same thing when I attended the Ryle game. Very few highlands fans in attendance.

I brought that up last year as well. Can't use weather as an excuse either. Last year the first game of the season it was perfect football weather and I have never seen the visitor stands at Cooper so empty. This was also their first game since winning their last state title too. Not a very good traveling fan base.

Nope, we haven't traveled well recently. We used to travel like the big blue nation. Visiting stands were packed and sometimes we outnumbered the homers. Not sure what's happened recently. Even in the last 2-3 years of the big run, I felt like attendance was starting to drop. I know that some of the kids stopped going at one time because the games were boring. At least that's what my daughter would tell me. But I'm not sure why they don't travel well now. Different times I guess. Maybe because we're a baseball and softball school now!

Or fair weather fans maybe, when its good its all good when there is struggles the support is no where to be seen and that's when they need you the most.

According to the write-up about the game, the first PAT was missed and then they went for 2 the other times.

 

Is that a rarity that there are no PAT's?
