Okay I guess. Would have preferred them to be all orange.

Ugh no. That would have looked horrible. Orange jerseys, orange pants and orange helmets. No thanks. The all white was definitely a better choice. To bad the helmets couldn't be white too.

I was in the all orange camp. This has Marvin Lewis all over it though. I REALLY miss the Orange jerseys with black pants, but Marvin hates it so we don't see it anymore. These could be standard jerseys, too conservative. It may look hideous but at least it is something to talk about. No such thing as bad publicity. Why do you all think Pittsburgh keeps wearing those hideous bumblebee uniforms, because people talk about it.

There was basically nothing they could do. They already have all black. All orange would look horrible with orange helmets too. If they could have changed the helmets all orange would have been ok. All white was basically their best choice. Unless they could have went with alternate colors and did like an all Gray or something.

I don't see what is wrong about all orange including helmets. Would it look bad, maybe but it's about marketing and all orange would definitely have been a better marketing strategy IMO. They will sell very few all white jersey because they look so similar to the current road uniforms. The all orange would sell because it is unique and unique sells.

Bengals’ unveil white tiger inspired Color Rush uniforms for Thursday Night Football - Cincy Jungle

The Bengals unveiled their Color Rush uniforms this morning at the zoo. Unfortunately, the NFL does not allow a helmet design change during the season as a white with black stripe helmet would have looked good.

The Steelers have had different helmets.

How recent was that as I know Green Bay has worn a different helmet before too? According to the article I linked, the NFL stopped teams from doing this back in 2009, and that's the reason the Bengals won't have a different helmet for the game.

NFL safety committees told teams not to wear throwback helmets | ProFootballTalk

September 17, 2013

The news that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won’t wear their Bucco Bruce throwback helmets comes a month after two NFL safety committees concluded that throwback helmets are a bad idea.

The league office passed along to PFT a memo that was sent to the clubs in August, saying that when throwback uniforms are worn, helmets should not be changed.

“Our Head, Neck, and Spine Committee, chaired by Drs. Hunt Batjer and Richard Ellenbogen, and the Player Safety Advisory Panel, chaired by John Madden and Ronnie Lott, have recommended that players no longer wear different helmets as part of a ‘Throwback’ or ‘Third’ uniform,” the memo from the league office said. “Our office supports this change and has reviewed it with the chairman of our Health and Safety ownership committee, Dr. John York, who concurs with this recommendation.”

The league office told all teams planning to wear throwback uniforms this season that players must wear their regular helmets on throwback dates. The outside of the helmet can be modified by removing or replacing decals, but the helmet itself must stay the same. Once players have properly fitted helmets that they’re comfortable wearing, the NFL doesn’t want them changing helmets during the season just for appearances.

We’re told that some teams aren’t yet sure whether to go ahead with plans to wear throwback uniforms. The Cowboys, for instance, planned to wear their throwbacks with white helmets on Thanksgiving, and it’s not yet known whether they will blend throwback jerseys with regular helmets, or just scrap the throwback uniforms entirely.

Pretty sure the Steelers wear that yellow helmet at least once a year.

One if they go all orange, then they are the Browns because the Browns have an all orange uniform with orange helmets. As for the jersey's an all orange jersey wouldn't be to different than the alternate orange jerseys they already have except for a little less black. So either way there was no look that was going to be completely different than something they already had, unless they went with a completely different color like gray.

Which honestly I do think the Black and white look will sell, because the younger generation does like that color scheme honestly. Just like how most of the younger generation loved it when the Brooklyn Nets went to all black and white. Black, white, and gray is like the new thing the younger generations seem to like and if the younger generations like something that is what sells.

They aren't too bad, but I think they would look much cooler with a white helmet. Would love to see Mr. Brown spring for some white helmets and then maybe auction them off for charity.

Helmets do stick out with the all white uni, kind of makes them look like giant orange Tootsie Pops.

The Giants are using a different helmet with their color rush uniform.

After reading that article, I'm guessing the Giants are just putting a different logo on it though
