Who will it be? Anybody? Starting 2-0 and being nationally ranked, the Rocks are back to their winning ways. Can they run the table and get their crown back?

If anyone does it I think it will be anyone of Lafayette, Male or St. X in the regular season. I don't think they will lose come November.

 

That being said I think they run the table.

Lafayette has the talent for sure but I don't see it happening. I would say the odds are more likely it is a blowout by Trinity than an upset by Lafayette. Lafayette really goes for the big play a lot and I could see that backfiring against T

 

Male I don't think has the weapons this year

 

St. Xavier I am not high on at all. Truth be told I would be hesitatnt to even put X among my list of Top 10 overall teams in KY

 

In terms of post season foes not named above:

Simon Kenton is really looking good so far. I get the feeling this may be their best team. I know it is cool to hate on them.. but they may be the only team with the balance to pull off the upset besides Lafayette.

 

Scott County is always strong but I just get the impression they are a little green and vulnerable.

 

McCracken County is intriguing but I want to see how they grow. If recent history is an indication Trinity will start to pull away as the weather gets colder.

Kind of my thoughts too. After the 2003 season I don't make bold predictions anymore.

Just for laughs, everybody should vote for "other."

Personally I don't think Trinity will be undefeated this season but the loss or losses won't happen in the playoffs. Could be this week, next week or Sept. 30.
