I thought before hand that T was a 3-4 TD favorite. I'm confused on the matter. I know Ensworth is always good just thought Trinity was favored big.

The Nashville Tennessean picked Trinity by 14. The Louisville Courier-Journal picked Trinity by 10. I picked Trinity by 21. :-) Happy the Rocks started the season with a Win and evened the series with Ensworth at 2-2.

Ensworth is a really good ball club!

The passing game was not clicking. Blackburn struggled a bit throwing the ball and it didn't help that Trinity lost one of their top receivers possibly for the year last week to a freak foot injury. They also had another starting receiver playing with one hand after he severely sprained it Wednesday in practice. I expect the home field and another week of prep and healing to help the passing game get back on track. Running game was solid in both halves. The Rocks wore down Ensworth and it showed in the 4th QTR.

My grandson plays with Trinity and they were very excited with a win I believe Trinity can make a deep run if everyone stays healthy.

Only a sophomore, though. His recruiting appeal may be based on a projection of how he'll be two years from now.
