August 4, 201610 yr Seeing as we do Netflix on the regular, going to dinner and a movie sounds more appealing. However, there has to be a movie out that I'm legitimately interested in seeing before I'll lay down $40 to see it.

August 4, 201610 yr I have always liked dinner out and a movie theatre (nothing beats seeing and hearing a movie on a big screen with great sound). However, humans are just ruining the pleasure for me by constantly turning on cell phones and talking during the movie, on phone or to each other, as if they're the only ones in the theatre.

August 4, 201610 yr Dinner/movie is the nice traditional answer. But Netflix, and streaming productions such as it, has changed the social landscape.

August 4, 201610 yr Under normal circumstances netflix/amazon prime @ home with a good meal ( I second chinese food )...however drinking cold beer and enjoying an appetizer out at the schmancy cinema in Florence is fun every so often!

August 4, 201610 yr I'm all for going out for dinner, and then going home and watching Netflix. Although we do still sometimes rent newer movies from Redbox. We haven't been to a movie theater in years.
