MentschTrachtGottLacht
Congrats to CJ. Looks like he will have a tough decision to make next year on some great schools. Good luck to him and certainly good for NKY players getting recruited as there certainly is some talent in both basketball and football in the area. Classy post, love mutual respect from fans of opposing programs. Well done.
AnonymousCoach
I wonder if Indiana's next head coach will honor the offer? Tom Crean is a dead man walking lol
feelingit
Not sure why a kid from the area would go to Indiana over Xavier but maybe CJ ends up at IU if Chris Mack does ?

InItToWinIt
Dead serious ? As a former college basketball player, I can tell you location is one of dozens of factors to consider when looking to play at the next level. It is not the only variable between different schools. Theoldguy
Does Fredrick have the speed to play D1? The Coaches of Iowa, X and IND believe he does, as do a large number of others who would love CJ to be a part of their programs!

6 Region J
Game in and game out in KY you do not face complete teams of D1 athletes. Lots of great players from KY have had their athletic ability at the D1 level questioned. Make no mistake about it his play for Indiana Elite in the spring and summer is what helped him most for name recognition. How he defends and moves against Addidas Gold competition proves he is D1 while his consistency and play at CCHS backs that up even more. I hope CJ is opening eyes across D1 and opens doors for kids in KY for years to come.

futurecoach
Even though I didn't see him as being D1 caliber the two games I saw him play. Which obviously I am no scout or recruiter so they know much more than me. I just know when I watched James Bolden play as a sophomore he was able to do it all, plus could just take over a game and carry his team. So when I saw CJ play I may have had my expectations up to high expecting to see a player like James Bolden was as a sophomore. Sounds like he stands out a lot more in AAU which is great, because I love seeing NKY boys play D1.
