July 4, 201610 yr Big deal or no? I think the AG should recuse herself due to perception alone. Perception is reality. Bill Clinton and AG Loretta Lynch meet privately - CNNPolitics.com
July 4, 201610 yr I think it's politics as usual and the Clintons are doing Clintonish things. And she undoubtedly should recuse herself.
July 4, 201610 yr Obviously, this meeting only occurred because it was felt it could be kept secret. If not for the actions of a local reporter, it would have been. The fact that the protection detail would not allow photography, and that Mrs. Clinton was interviewed by the FBI a few days later makes it look really bad.
July 4, 201610 yr In my opinion it certainly wasn't an unplanned meeting and it reeks of a Clinton political maneuver. It also sends a bad message, apparently some democrats agree.
July 4, 201610 yr In my opinion it certainly wasn't an unplanned meeting and it reeks of a Clinton political maneuver. It also sends a bad message, apparently some democrats agree. The steady parade of Clinton surrogates excusing/dismissing this meeting is nauseating. Bill Clinton is a potential witness in the investigation regarding the Clinton Foundation. Was the FBI Testimony/Interview coordinated? Were some of the questions leaked? With the long history of Clinton Fabrications, I find it impossible to believe she did not perjur herself. If the GOP retains majority in the house and senate, will they impeach if HRC is elected?
July 4, 201610 yr If you're Team Clinton, you have to admit this is a bad look. Don't you? Even if they did just talk about golf and the NBA free agency rumors.
July 4, 201610 yr If HRC is elected President Obama will pardon her of everything before he leaves office and she takes office.
July 4, 201610 yr So what is being suggested is AG Lynch is so gullible that just talking to Bill will influence the actions (if any) she was going to take against HRC?
July 4, 201610 yr So what is being suggested is AG Lynch is so gullible that just talking to Bill will influence the actions (if any) she was going to take against HRC? Not really IMO. Who is to say that Lynch did not want to meet with Clinton? Who is to say that they did not want the meeting to be made public? I have heard all kinds of things that are possible. It is amazing though that the AG of the US would do something that any first year law student in this country absolutely KNOWS is highly inappropriate. She should recuse herself for sheer incompetence if nothing else...though I think it is far worse than that. The fix is most likely in on this.
July 4, 201610 yr Author Yawn... I agree. I tire of the Clinton's bamboozling their way out of everything.
July 4, 201610 yr Author So what is being suggested is AG Lynch is so gullible that just talking to Bill will influence the actions (if any) she was going to take against HRC? What I am suggesting is that Lynch recuse herself due to the look of impropriety.
