June 1, 201610 yr Kentucky Wildcats coach John Calipari suggests moving SEC tournament to November Crazy as it sounds I like the idea. I like the agenda and motive behind it also. :lol2:
June 2, 201610 yr Is this because he struggles to win the SEC tourney? No kidding. Hasn't won it in years.
June 2, 201610 yr As I saw on Twitter earlier: "I don't think I've ever hated anything as much as Cal hates the SEC tournament."
June 2, 201610 yr Cal is great at sending out messages online. He probably truly does mean it, however he also knows making more of a story out of how the SEC tournament is meaningless. May actually get the committee next year to actually take into account who wins the SEC tournament. Should definitely help since Mitch is on the committee now too.
June 2, 201610 yr Probably because it's stupid since the championship game is ignored by the idiots in the selection room.
June 2, 201610 yr Author Is this because he struggles to win the SEC tourney? No kidding. Hasn't won it in years. #UKFans Cal has won 4 of 7 SEC tournaments since he came to UK. Including this season when they beat Texas A&M and received a 4 seed and Texas A&M received a 3 seed. :lol2: The point Cal is making is that the conference tournaments at the end of the year are pointless if they don't help your seeding out any. Why play it is the question he is asking. I think it is a very legitimate question.
June 2, 201610 yr I think he has a pretty good point. Conference tournaments matter for some teams/leagues, but for most it is of little consequence.

June 2, 201610 yr You guys are giving him way too much credit lol Would ESPN be talking about SEC basketball in June if it wasn't for this?
June 2, 201610 yr It's an outlandish way of making some very good points. If he just said what the exact points were, no one would really listen and would just say he's whining. Instead, he brings up a totally random idea, that will never happen, and gets people talking about it. I believe Calipari is a very calculated individual.
