Sports where women can beat men...

Featured Replies

They are pretty good at poisoning a good for nothing man's food too when they finally get in the kitchen to cook.

I mean seriously....what a totally moronic response. Yeah, men are physically stronger; but that's were your perceived superiority ends.

Just playing around. Come on where is the sense of humor. Aint the world bad enough, cant we just laugh at ignorance. And NO I dont really mean all that.

Grass cutting, cooking, house....Oh, wrong thread.......nevermind.

(sorry Mref, kind of repeated your entry here. Didn't skim far enough before I entered my post..............in the wrong place of course...............although my wife is a great sprinter, she can get to the bathroom before I can!)

Are you insinuating our brains are in our muscles? I'm appalled!

Sorry JD for snarky posts. Will try to be serious here later after I think this over.

No...but how many boys high school teams never have had a D1 player, heck the majority of high school teams never send anyone at any level to play college ball.

So you don't think the UCONN women's team could beat a single boys team in Kentucky or any state for that matter?

We didn't say a "single boys team." I will say they can't beat any of the top 50.

Never said that. I for one do think a team of 20-21 year old D1 women could beat a below average HS team of 17-18 year old boys.

Top level against top level?

Are we talking the #1 ranked man against the #1 ranked woman?

Person vs. person and no animals or vehicles involved?

Bowling, Archery, shooting, curling, and ping pong.....that is about it.

Drag racing? Those girls have the best equipment 99% of the time.

Horse racing/equestrian? Horse is too much of a factor.

A young man I coached for years just spent the last (4) years playing on the practice squad vs. the UofL women's team (a top 10 program over that span). He did not play in High School, but is a very good athlete (fast) & an outstanding shooter. I asked his opinion a couple weeks ago regarding this subject. While he may have boasted a bit; he definitely backed the what TAC & Clyde are saying.

In college I played a pick up game against the lady norse. I was an average player on the boys pick up team and mind you I was a sub on my intramural team in HS. We used the small ball at their request and the first game we lost in a close one. Won the next 3 pretty easily.

Do you count billiards as a sport? I'd throw that in. That Black Widow pool player is very good.

No, it is a recreation. You can drink and smoke while participating.

FYI, don't suggest poker either. :thumb:

Ping pong?

Definitely Table Tennis.

Most local/regional events are open for men and women to enter. Your rating is your rating, sex has nothing to do with it.

Shoutout to KY's top female Table Tennis player, Kim Allen!

To much of an open ended question. Danica Patrick is a terrible example...she has won one race and typically isn't competitive on a given weekend. Plus the car and race team/funding and not to mention luck (both good and bad) have a LOT to do with that sport (same goes for the Force girls and drag racing).

If you are talking the upper echelon in each genders sports, then I'd be hard pressed to name anything outside of maybe billiards. Other than that the women will probably get crushed.

Now, I did hear some experts say something interesting about Olympic swimming a while back. The general statement was that in the near future women swimmers will probably surpass male swimmers and have faster times in the same event. Why is this? Has to do with body build and the amount of fat, in general a woman swimmer carries compared to a man. Because women carry more fat and men more muscle, men have to generate more force/effort to swim the same distance. The talking heads predicted in the next 20 or so years they think women will surpass men in world records. Interesting theory.

Guess softball isn't a sport either then lol.
