Odd way of showing respect....

That maybe true, but you need to worry about someone besides me. Now I am going to stop. Sorry If I offended you and things were not just the way you thought they should be. Im just living in your world anyway.

Anyways...Back on topic....Do people think there is some sort of secret in his taxes that if released would cause havoc to his campaign? Release them, don't release them, it matters not.

I think you are the one not getting it Jesse.

You don't get the logistics of this notion.

I didn't call them crazy. I said they are lazy.

Still, no answer to my question: Why can't the passionate people (which these friends seem to be) work harder to change the leadership? Why must Civil War or some fantasy of mutually agreed secession take place?

Logistics are the key to any movement and all I am hearing is disgruntlement. No plan of "How to effect" the separation or effectively create a new republic.

You can get this kind of talk at any barber shop, faculty lounge, bar or basketball tournament.

Local 151, behind the firehouse?

Who cares besides hardcore politicos what is in his tax returns, or anyone's for that matter?

Ok, so the class Valedictorian and the GED certificate earner should get the same consideration and be viewed as equals when they apply to colleges and then for jobs?

You know what they call the graduate who finishes dead last in their class in Med school? 'Doctor'. But do you want that "doctor" performing your open heart or brain surgery, or would you prefer having the one who finished at the top of the class doing it?

Do you check your doctor's med school transcripts before they treat you?

I check my doctors, lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, contractors and most other professionals I employ thoroughly. I get references, talk to other clients, read peer reviews, talk to others in the professions about their reputation and performance, find out how long they have been in business etc... Pretty standard practice in my book. Do you just go find the cheapest or closest when hiring service providers?

I do the same. My comment was just based on your comment that the guy at the top of his class is the the guy you want doing the job. I was just saying where he finished in his class doesn't matter to me. I only care that he can do the job the best.

I'd kind of like to know that the guy in charge of our country is actually smart enough for that job. So far I've not seen evidence of that.

My...how this thread has spun out of control. I wonder if Trump will incite a secession if he is pushed to released his tax returns :lol2:

I think it has been said repeatedly as soon as the audit was completed he would release them. If I was being audited I'd wait also until the audit was completed.

I wonder what the odds are that he'll release them?

I'd say if the audit is wrapped up the odds are good...do you really think he has some sort of nefarious earnings on there?
