George Will: Trump won’t release tax returns because they show his ties to Russian oligarchs Vladimir Putin has a plan for destroying the West, and it looks a lot like Donald Trump. This article is a bit much, but it establishes Trump has interest in Russia and makes you wonder if Will raises a valid question re: the tax returns. Personally, I think Trump's "plans" for NATO and his various foreign policy musings can be met on the merits (or lack thereof, as it were) without dabbling in the conspiratorial. But I do wonder if he had claimed income from Gazprom or another Putin conduit if it would give anyone pause over his candidacy.
