May 22, 201610 yr Trump would be in the 47%. I have a hard time looking down on a family of 4 below the poverty line not paying taxes, BUT a multi-billionaire who blows about his money... :taz: Hope you feel the same about Buffet and Bloomberg but I doubt it.
May 22, 201610 yr Author Hope you feel the same about Buffet and Bloomberg but I doubt it. Yes and no. 1. Are they telling the nation they are the answer for this country? No. Do your thing then. 2. I hate we have a tax code where billionaires can escape tax liability.
May 22, 201610 yr Yes and no. 1. Are they telling the nation they are the answer for this country? No. Do your thing then. 2. I hate we have a tax code where billionaires can escape tax liability. Buffet fights the IRS not to pay taxes and you say do your thing then. You are so far Left, you think you are right. :lol2:
May 22, 201610 yr Trump would be in the 47%. I have a hard time looking down on a family of 4 below the poverty line not paying taxes, BUT a multi-billionaire who blows about his money... :taz: I'll bet money you give poor Hillary a pass on her millions and her tax breaks just because she's a Dem.
May 22, 201610 yr Author Buffet fights the IRS not to pay taxes and you say do your thing then. You are so far Left, you think you are right. :lol2: Is he running for president? Is he campaigning on "how to make America great again"? I also said I hate our tax code that allows this. I'll bet money you give poor Hillary a pass on her millions and her tax breaks just because she's a Dem. Best you got. HRC paid taxes. Probably not enough, but at least she had to write a check that had a number before the 0. If it turns out Big Don pays zero taxes, it's reprehensible and very hard to defend.
May 22, 201610 yr I'll bet money you give poor Hillary a pass on her millions and her tax breaks just because she's a Dem. Can't speak for HC, but not me. The 1-percenters need to get hit much harder.

"If" it turns out Hillary is indited what will you say? You have as much evidence on each of these instances as I do. But you lefties like to tout "what If" but cry foul when the right does? This can not be refuted by your posts either.
May 22, 201610 yr I'll bet money you give poor Hillary a pass on her millions and her tax breaks just because she's a Dem. I'm not going to be upset with any candidate over taxes, unless they are doing something illegal to avoid paying. I personally take advantage of every tax break I can to reduce and usually eliminate my liability. I won't blame any candidate or any other person from doing the same.
May 22, 201610 yr If he doesn't pay taxes. Trump loves this country and wants to make it great again, yet he doesn't contribute any of his billions to it now. #hypocrite Do you expect him to change this code? I say he won't. I don't care if Trump paid taxes or not. I do care that he has donated millions to Veteran's causes BEFORE he was a candidate for President. Charities spend money a lot more efficiently than our federal government does. Resenting people because they have taken advantage of the entrepreneurial opportunities this country provides is ridiculous. However, when the lust for profits gets to the point where you have no regard for the interests of your country, or your fellow citizens, then that is crossing the line. Two generations ago, when it was American Companies , employing American citizens to make products in America, economic and nationalist interests were aligned. Now that corporations are internationalized, there is no regard for national interest by large corporations and as a result economic and national interests are no longer aligned. Corporations are free to manufacture abroad, using 3rd world labour and wage rates, and with no concern for regulatory restrictions. Amazingly, Trump and Sanders are in COMPLETE AGREEMENT on the issue of the failures of Free Trade. We have to bring manufacturing jobs and manufacturing capacity back to this country. Not only is it an economic necessity, manufacturing capacity is necessary for National Security. If we ever have to go to war in a hurry, having substantive manufacturing capacity will facilitate transitioning to a war time footing. Having manufacturing capacity and expertise remaining off shore is a significant national security risk.
May 22, 201610 yr Well, JJ. He is a fake. Trump transformed into the conservative savior That's what you are missing...No one thinks he is the "Conservative Savior" as you put it. Donald Trump at best is just a little right of center...but what he is, "He is not Hillary Rodham Clinton" that is where his support will grow from. To paraphrase an Obama political strategist 8 years ago, "The longer she is in front of the American people the weaker her support gets."
May 22, 201610 yr Somebody on the Left explain to me how entering the country illegally, sometimes transporting drugs, sometimes committing criminal felonies is acceptable, defenceable behaviour, but insisting that US Federal Law is enforced is Bigotry?

Thanks for proving my point. You have no proof Trump has paid no taxes but why let facts get in the way right. Does it really matter if Buffet is running for POTUS? He's a billionaire fighting the IRS not to pay taxes. You are so easy to predict.

I agree with you 100%.

It's your every third post. I have said several times "if". You just read the parts you want. I don't agree with Buffett's ability to find all these loopholes either.
