September 21, 200619 yr 20+ HR 90+ RBI and a gold glove is hardly being a Homer. My roommate is a huge Cardinals fan and he knows that Nomar is most deserving of the award. Those are good numbers for Rolen, just not good enough to beat out Nomar.

THere is more to it than just numbers. Rolen plays the best 3rd in the majors and is in line to win another gold glove. Nomar has had to move to 1st to stay healthy and he has still missed time this year to injuries.
