Nomar Garciaparra - Dodgers

Johnny Estrada - Diamondbacks

Carlos Beltran - Mets

Scott Rolen - Cardinals

Joe Borowski - Marlins

Edgar Renteria- Braves

 

AL

 

Maglio Ordonez - Tigers

Frank Thomas - Athletics

Jim Thome - White Sox

Curt Shilling - Red Sox

Corey Patterson - Orioles

Rafael Soriano - Mariners

Some may disagree but I think to be considered for comeback player they should be coming off an injury and not just a poor year.

 

NL: Rolen or Nomar

AL: Thome

For the NL it has to be Nomar Garciaparra he's having a sensational year in LA and has even changed positions without loosing a step. My vote for the AL goes to none other than Magglio Ordonez. He's recovering from 3 surgeries in 12 months and is batting .294 while on pace for 100 RBI's this season.

Ordonez was my second choice. Thome, to me, has made more of a contribution to the White Sox than Ordonez has with Detriot.

Thome has been on fire with the Sox it was a toss up for me but I had to stick with Magglio. If Thome stays healthy and keeps producing he'll beat out Ordonez in the end.

I'm going with Nomar and Thomas. Nomar needs no explanation, but I think everyone thought Thomas was as good as done and he has had a great year. Beltran was close on Nomar, but he had a decent year last year.
