8 Family members murdered execution style in Ohio

Featured Replies

Sounds like to me they were trying to fabricate a reason to arrest him...

Possibly. I'm curious what the aggravated murder is about that led to the tracking of his vehicle. Seems like the investigation is either progressing, or there is an entirely different incident being investigated as well.

He found it.

So. Police secretly plant a device on your vehicle, you find it, remove it. And you are in the wrong??????

If 8 family members had just been executed and I found a tracking device on my car you can be damn sure I'm destroying that thing without hesitation.

Ridiculous to arrest him for that IMO.

IMO, it was 100% a set up. They obviously didn't hide it very well or he wouldn't have found it. Plant it so he can find it, then arrest him for destroying it because they didn't have enough to arrest him for the case.

Is it plausible to assume he may have killed them all to take over the pot business and make all the money instead of splitting it.

He had already been questioned and failed a lie detector test. He had to have known that the police put it there.

Seems plausible to me. The police suspect that whoever killed those people was known by the family since their dogs apparently did not bark.

Lie detector tests are incredibly unreliable. I'd be interested to know what questions the test showed he lied on.

I hope it was the Mexican Cartel because I hate to think a person could kill his own family and kids like he did.

If this crime was committed with the precision and detail that it was by anyone other than a professional(Cartel,Hitman, etc.) this guy ought to have movies and books done about him. I would be shocked if this was done by a local

My guess is the tracking device was there to see if he would lead them to the people buying the pot and then investigate from there in hopes of finding more clues.

Most of them were shot in their sleep. Not like it was an extravagant plan from the get go. No clue what to think at this point.

48 hours mystery has to be waiting in the wings I'm sure.

If you were completely innocent, you wouldn't contact police after you found this device?

Police have said all along that they believe the killer is someone familiar or close to the family. Dogs did not bark to alert anyone which means they knew whoever it was.

Edit.
