Curry may sit out this series vs the Rockets. But he may sit the rest of the playoffs to avoid the risk of hurting his long term career. This is similar to making an investment obviously, and if you were Curry, what would you do?

I'd do what I'm currently paid to do. There's no way this will actually happen, but if it does, I'll never consider him the best player in the league, or the MVP. Even if there's a fire.

I keep hearing rumors that Kerr is planning to have him sit. A sprained ankle has extreme potential. How minor is it?

He has the whole offseason to recuperate from a sprained ankle. If he can play, he should. If the injury does not let him, then he cannot play. I would be shocked if a sprained ankle kept him out more than the first series.

Jordan would have played hurt and sick.

Curry is a competitor, this thread is ridiculous.

Is this a real question?

No.

Curry will be out there next game against the dirtiest player in the NBA (Patrick Beverly) and the Rockets.

The absurdity of this thread is unbelievable.

I doubt he sits a game. The entire playoffs? :lol2: Ridiculous.

As said above...if the injury is bad enough to keep him sidelined, then that's what will happen. If he can tape it up and play through it (and it's what he is PAID to do) then he will play.

It is a far fetched question...BUT...the reason it has SOME merit IMO is one reason...Derrick Rose. I also believe that it's one of the reasons Rose's name isn't mentioned with the reverence/respect it used to be. Curry isn't Rose.

If he's too hurt to play, he won't. Other than that Curry will play, as he should.

Its an ankle injury. Whether sitting is not recommended, its still a valid concern. I made this thread because I may have been more naive towards the recent click bait, but its still a decent question in my opinion. Any harm done to the ankle is always a valid concern.

In no situation would ANY NBA superstar sit during the Playoffs when they could be playing.

And don't give me Derrick Rose, he's soft.

Players get more rest now in the playoffs than they do during the regular season. After tonight the Warriors take off two days. I could see Kerr monitoring the situation and his minutes, but no way does he sit out an extended time frame.
