..... I have no use at all for the NBA. I probably don't even watch 5 minutes a year.

I don't get nearly as excited about other sports as basketball! I love the high school level more than any.College would be next then professional, in that order. Curious as to what order others prefer?

I feel your pain. Every year about this time I experience B-Ball withdrawal. I get so wrapped up in it from December to March that it's hard to replace it when it's over.

The upside is that it's the beginning of spring, so there's a lot to be pumped and happy about with that. I ultimately adjust, but I go at least a week after the H.S. Sweet 16 is over feeling like I've lost a good friend, but the NCAA tourney pacifies me enough to get me through.

I really dislike winter, and basketball helps get me through it

But once the weather warms up, the trees bud out, and the fish start biting, I'm ready for fishing and do quite a bit of it, and then horse racing throughout the summer until next basketball season.

High school of course is 1st, except UK basketball. Love college, Watch more NBA now and follow the UK players. @Randy Parker. of course Julius comes first....:lol2:

I go from attending, listening and watching games on TV. Now that basketball is over I watch HGTV.

And that can get expensive. LOL!

My son playing - any HS game

College - Any level

NBA

AAU

I still spend about 4 days a week in a gym with my son working out after the season, and that's really not as much time as I would like to spend lol. My wife often jokes, (but I think she is serious), we should have just built a metal gym building and boxed off 4 rooms to sleep in instead of getting a house.

I am definitely a gym rat, although an aged one, and love everything about the game.

I get depressed when college and HS football ends. The NFL playoffs help some but not really. I slide into HS and college basketball until the Sweet 16 and UK loses and then it's dark days until August.

I'm looking forward to spring football.

For players and parents, basketball season doesn't end it just changes from high school to AAU. lol

Throw in Softball and Tennis on top of that and you've got our transition. It's good thing we only have 1 child! :woot:

Withdrawal is more excessive this year. I've grown accustom to Cats getting me to Opening Days . . . Reds & Keeneland with the Masters immediately following, all the while amping up Derby fever.

This is about exactly my feelings!

My kids and I are gym rats too.

High School. ......then High School and College softball, perfect sagway for me.

April 4th is a great day this year featuring Reds opening day and the Final Four championship. My basketball withdrawal begins on April 5th but I turn my attention to NBA and I am good to go through June. In a few short months I can look forward to another season of HS ball. ...and cycle continues year to year.

I love my football but will miss hs ball until next season. I always love the Sweet 16 and hate to see it end each season.

^ Kinda the same here. The wife is actually concerned for my mental health on the day after the Super Bowl.
