March 17, 201610 yr Williams "Violated school policy and has been suspended from school," Coach Buddy Biggs said. No further comment was issued. Per Evan Dennison of The Ledger Independent. I will be praying for this young man. Hard to do much without at least a high school education. Let alone playing at the next level. Those dreams are gone now. Really hope he can get the help he needs and turns his life around.

Life lessons often aren't easy. The team has to shoulder on without him and that makes the job much tougher. But in the end, I'm hoping that, to use an old expression, he lives and learns. As for some of the other posts, well, haters gonna hate.

Since this thread is in controversial issues, he is no longer in school, assuming he is at least 18 are those in the know allowed to share what they know?

March 17, 201610 yr Mason County is the laughing stock of the state right now. Actually, I think most of the state feels sorry (or should) for Mason County.
March 17, 201610 yr Actually, I think most of the state feels sorry (or should) for Mason County. I feel sorry for the teammates if that is what you meant by Mason Co.
March 17, 201610 yr I feel sorry for the teammates if that is what you meant by Mason Co. Exactly. They didn't ask for trouble. There were let down by a teammate at the biggest moment of their careers. Sad stuff.

March 17, 201610 yr Are they calling for Buddy's head yet in Mason County? Hope they are not asking for mine!!!!
March 18, 201610 yr As the athlete in question is still a minor and it is a school issue, the school cannot comment further. I won't speculate on why he could have been suspended but I'm sure that members of the school system could check the student code of conduct and have a better idea of why, but is really any of our business anyway? My hope is that this young man can get himself straightened out and move forward with his life. There is more to life than basketball but it can teach us all life lessons. I hope that he can learn from this tough lesson.
