What is sad about it was they knew about it and stole the little school of Augusta dream. I wish khsaa could do something about it. What is even worse is Campbell and Paris also got beat by a mason county team using a ineligible player. This is just the rumor is heard going on in the area. If so such a shame. 10th region could have been represented by a school with much more pride and respectful coaches and players.

@Brackengrad95 you have the story all messed up. He was not in trouble during region or even before. He has the grades to play, it's not even about grades.

I obviously know none of the details but why would he be ineligible? It sounds like a coach/team/school decision, not a KHSAA-ineligibility decision.

When you, as a head coach and administration let these types of actions go on in your program and school and don't take a stand you're bound to encounter this.

 

I believe there was MC players at the beginning of the year who got in trouble and were only suspended 3 games. When you set this tone, and let players know it's okay to do whatever they want with no harsh punishments you do no justice for your program and kids.

I did. My quote was in reference to another poster. His comments made Williams appear ineligible by the state, not the school. He's being punished by the school, right?

You obviously don't know the stout but to say that the coaches and players are disrespectful is very offensive. I have a child that plays for this team and he is in no way disrespectful and deserves to be playing at Rupp!
