NCAA Bracket leaked early

Featured Replies

That committee room will probably be more secure next year than the gold reserves at Fort Knox.

They need to trim down the length of the show as well. 2 hours is far too long. An hour is plenty to get all the info out, to do some small interviews, and get out happy. However the longer the show for them, the more ad revenue for them.

Because of the way CBS was handing the bracket reveal, I was glad that they got leaked.

I love the interviews with coaches, live look-ins and everything, but we don't need someone predicting whose going to win all the games in a region before you even roll out the rest of the bracket.

KISS.

You can have a two hour selection show, but the bracket needs to be revealed COMPLETELY in the first half hour. Trying to drag it out like that isn't going to keep the viewers.

The show should be a half-hour like it used to be. After that have a separate special where you have people analyze the brackets. What they did was ridiculous, and it serves them right that the bracket got leaked ahead of time.

The person in charge of the brackets show idea and credits have been sacked.

CBS paid a whole of money and charged a whole lot of money for the two hours. They know once entire bracket is out they lose the eyeballs. And they did. Heard the ratings are measured down to half hour or fifteen minutes. They could see when leak occurred just from the rating monitors.

I shut the TV off long before that leak. Once they started doing a breakdown of the first region before they started showing the other three, I was quite finished.

It's 2016 and the brackets would have been available online the second the least team was revealed regardless of a leak. It's just pointless.

I believe it was Awful Announcing tweeted out a video link yesterday of the 1994 Selection Show. The entire bracket was announced in 7 1/2 minutes.

The Selection Show was absolutely brutal. There is no excuse for stretching out a bracket announcement to two hours. Brutal.
