I was running through some games/stats for Taylor; not sure if it has been mentioned within this thread yet but how many games have they lost when Gaines has been in uniform. He appears to be quite the difference maker.

Having that extra scorer goes a long way toward keeping opposing teams honest on defense.

They are unbeaten with him playing.

Will he be playing Wed?

Yes he is back to 100%

According to khsaa he played in the Murray lose. He was the missing link from last year because Berry was that other guy who could score 20.

They are unbeaten with him playing.

Hmmm....Looks like Gaines scored 17 pts and had 6 rbs in a LOSS to Murray. Did someone give points to him in a game he didn't play? :idunno:

He did play, I was thinking starting in my original post. Please correct the record to they are 14-1 with Gaines playing.

Garrison is a very good defensive player , I like his matchup with Sloan

How tall/big are the starters for each team? grades?

Mason starters

Pig Williams - 6'0 SR

Isaiah Garrison - 5'10 SO

Jaylen Lofton - 5'9 FR

Connor Sweeney - 6'5 SR

Darren Williams - 6'6 SR

Key Reserves

Leevi Dunaway - 5'9 SO

Dalton Perkins 6'8 SO

Darell Henry (out for season) 5'7 SR.

Those of u with a few extra mins might wanna read a few threads that r posted @ Mason County's Pig. Looks like his career has ended a little early!!!!

I have two tickets for this session, very good seats if someone wants to buy them at discount message me.

I don't think this game will be close. Can anyone explain how they come up with the matchups at the Sweet Sixteen. Seems a little unfair that Mercer has to deal with Dunbar and Murray gets Buckhorn or TC gets Mason County. Even with Pig; I don't think Mason had much of a chance against TC.

It is a blind draw to set the matchups

TBH I didn't think Mason Co. had much of a chance in this game with Pig. Probably the best backcourt in the state at Taylor Co. Now that Pig has been dismissed from the team if MaCo can keep it from a running clock that would be a moral victory if there is such a thing. But I don't see that happening either. This may be the biggest margin of victory we will see in this years state tournament.
