TBH I didn't think Mason Co. had much of a chance in this game with Pig. Probably the best backcourt in the state at Taylor Co. Now that Pig has been dismissed from the team if MaCo can keep it from a running clock that would be a moral victory if there is such a thing. But I don't see that happening either. This may be the biggest margin of victory we will see in this years state tournament.

 

On paper, yes. But TC has a way of letting teams hang around that they shouldn't let hang around. It shouldn't be a close game but it may be more interesting than some think.

Big opportunity for Garrison now that Pig is out.

 

I've liked Garrison's game all along. We will now get a chance to see how he performs on the grand stage without being in Pig's shadow.

If Isaiah garrison can stay out of foul trouble I got Mason 60-56 , if he's in foul trouble, it's going to be running clock

IMO to win, Mason will have to shoot 60%+ from the field, play even on the boards and not let TC get them in foul trouble...

It will need to be a complete team effort for Mason to come out with the W, no one man can win this game. That being said, I believe several players haven't received the credit they've earned this season and it's time to leave it all on the floor!!

Royals will be heroic to just isolate their disappointment and leave an all out effort by every teammate on the floor. This is not a fitting end to these boys spectacular post-season run. After losing District Championship on last second 18 footer, theywin 10th Regional Championship by upsetting #1 Camels, #2 Greyhounds, and then 39th District Champs Panthers. A gauntlet to make even their competition acknowledge as awesome.

 

This roller coaster ride of emotions they must be experiencing with yesterday's terrible news hopefully can end with a valiant effort by each player and each coach. Lots to be proud of Royals. Today victory can be achieved in ways not shown or measured by the final score.

Papaw is going to the barbershop, so he will know when he comes back. BGP post also said school suspension. Terrible, sad, unbelievable waste. I've known him since about nine, when he played with my grandsons.

I was looking forward to getting to see this young man play. How many points difference is he worth. I don't know exactly what the situation is but any shot that Mason upsets TC and he plays Round 2?
