I wouldn't say this team is better than last year's. They ran into a much better ballard team last yearin the semis than this year. I think the 7th (and state) is worse this year than previous years overall period. This year's team shoots the ball extremely well. They share the ball on offense and keep 4 shooters on the floor. The also play good half court defense.

The team has less talent than last year but better team play.

Trinity/NCC might be close because it's open round with 2 good teams going at it, but in the end I see the Rocks pulling away.

Could be an early classic for 2016 State tourney.

Padget was not on that team.

Does Mckim shoot every shot? I saw he had 3/4 of the points. Do they have any other players?

 

Had Trinity started face guarding him before OT, this wouldn't have been close. He was quite literally the only person doing anything for X. He had no help.

X radio announcers surmised he got worn down late in the game.

Totally agree that T had some classless cheers.

Make no mistake about it, X had just as many, maybe more.

Truthfully I was entertained by the student sections. Even when they crossed the line (X chanting "Where is Neuman?", T responding with "He's in jail") they didn't cross it too far.

The chants were such that whoever lost would feel the sour grapes.

LJ's technical foul almost lost the game for T. Rocks got outscored something like 20-5 after the technical foul (and is was LJ's 3rd personal foul early in the 2nd qtr)

Thank goodness King and Schmitt stepped it up in OT. Also, the T freshman (Johnson) had 9 point in the 1st qtr I think and then I don't know if he took another shot.

I said before the year started that this Trinity team was better than last year. They're a team in the truest sense. Scariest thing, except for Schmitt, the whole team is back next year.

Per official stats, McKim went 10/24 FG for 41.7% and 9/12 FT. The rest of the team went 4/19 FG for 21%.

McKim played the full 36 min, never out of the game.

Actually, St. X did not win the region with Padgett. They won it the year after he left.
