March 7, 201610 yr Former MSU Football Player Arrested Again By West Kentucky Star Staff MURRAY, KY - A former Murray State football player with a troubled past was arrested early Monday on multiple charges after a traffic stop. The Calloway County Sheriff's Department says a vehicle was spotted driving erratically on South 16th Street, and pulled it over just after 6:00 am. After field sobriety tests were conducted, 22-year-old Ezekiel "Zeke" Pike was arrested for DUI 2nd offense. He was later charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance - one of them being cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prescription not in proper container. A search of the vehicle revealed a gun, which means all other charges are firearm-enhanced. Pike was taken to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment, and then taken to Calloway County Jail. Pike signed with Auburn as a quarterback out of high school in 2012. He was dismissed in June 2012 after his arrest for public intoxication. Pike then transferred to Louisville, where he sat out a year due to NCAA transfer rules. He played sparingly in 2013 as a tight end, but left the program in 2014 and transferred to Murray after being arrested on another alcohol-related charge. Pike was dismissed from the Murray State football team in August of 2015 after his arrest on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and escape charges. March 7, 201610 yr Author I hope there's a bottom he can hit before the grim reaper makes a visit. I agree doc. Zeke needs some jail time, some rehab time, and maybe both. Maybe a year in jail with no perks and then an intensive rehab when he gets out would save his life.
March 7, 201610 yr I know it's fashionable to take shots at his parents for what they did or didn't do but I can't imagine the heartache they are going through. Same for his little brother. Tough to see someone you love go through this.

I'm guessing the hammer didn't come down all that hard from his last arrest back in August, which were somewhat serious charges. At some point in time he's going to need more than a slap on the hand.
