GOOD 4A teams should never lose to an A school, even if it is the best A school in the country.

 

Is this embarassing for all of NKY 4A?

 

2 teams with many, many starters returning and a much hyped, supposedly much improved SK squad.

How come the numbers for these 4A schools in NKY aren't working to their advantage like they claim it works for X and T's advantage????

I don't know that I agree with that. Some 1A schools are loaded with talent and great coaching and can hang with just about anyone in the state.

It's way too early to ask that question. Even very good teams can lose in a scrimmage to a lesser team. Do you have to look any further than Trinity losing to Scott Co. yesterday?

that type of question cannot be answered mainly based on the area. true it is probably statistically common for 4a schools to beat 1a schools in big cities like cincinnati, detroit, L.A., new york, ect. because most of those kids have to go to those schools and alot of their families cannot choose where they want their child to go to school. in northern ky there is a lot more space, and parents moving their children in districts just to play football is more common. growing up in this area i have heard a lot of people and seen a lot of people move to certain areas just to go to a certain school to play sports in basketball and football. big cities have more kids that HAVE to go to thier school and cannot choose to go to another one. therefore the 4a schools in big cities have a better selection of kids to choose from, and there is more people in big cities too. as for smaller areas like nky the selection is smaller and even some of those kids may leave if they want

That game was SC 16 TRINITY - 15 at half time. In the 2 nd half TRINITY stopped them completly!!!! TRINITY scored 4 touchdowns to SC 1 td??

one of the reasons I did not buy the lets create more classes to lessen the disparity in school size. The smaller schools in NKY routinely beat the 4A schools. I am going to say it one more time " its not the size of the dog in a fight, its the size of the fight in the dog.

I'm reading the same thing. post#2 SC 16-15 varsity. Then something about the Trinity JV running away with it. :thumb:

TRINTY D stopped them cold in the 3rd quarter, TRINITY scored 4 times to SC 1.
