I can't figure out this post? At the end of the day a AAAA school still has way more kids than an A school, right?

 

They may have more kids, but more athletes is not necessarily the case. You have schools like Atherton who was once 4A but had maybe two dozen kids on the team, then teams like Danville who have half the male population of the school on the team.

That game was SC 16 TRINITY - 15 at half time. In the 2 nd half TRINITY stopped them completly!!!! TRINITY scored 4 touchdowns to SC 1 td??

Bottom line TRINITY won that scrimmage game!!!!

You need to cool your jets. It was a tangential remark that has only minor bearing on Trinity as it is not particularly relevant to our season what the score was in the SC scrimmage. The regular season and the playoffs matter, this is an opportunity for us to test ourselves and see where we need work.

How come the numbers for these 4A schools in NKY aren't working to their advantage like they claim it works for X and T's advantage????

I would say that it has something to do with the fact that AAAA schools in NKY have upwards of 1500 STUDENTS. Where Trinity and X have upwards of 1500 BOYS . . . . . . .

 

I could care less about public/private blah, blah, blah. But it doesn't take a genius to realize that there is a difference between the two.

one of the reasons I did not buy the lets create more classes to lessen the disparity in school size. The smaller schools in NKY routinely beat the 4A schools. I am going to say it one more time " its not the size of the dog in a fight, its the size of the fight in the dog.

i dont agree some coaches dont want to take the chance of hurting key players and are playing some kids that are on the bubble. dont put to much stock into these games.
