Tonight's debate

Featured Replies

I agree with Kasich being the best. Has been all along. But he is getting drowned out.

it seems the establishment knowns the Canuck and Rubio are not going to get it done. And they apparently have no confidence Kasaich can break through.

So they are trying have Rubio firewall off Florida from Trump in a holding action and force the brokered convention and then they will bring out Romney - again. One thing is certain about Romney - he knows how to lose.

Bill had Boxers or Briefs as an iconic comment.

Last night we learned about the 'Big Hang Theory' at the Presidential level.

At least Trump didn't call Little Marco a hermaphrodite . That's the zinger that Jefferson laid on Adams 216 years ago. Politics is much more civil today than it was two centuries ago when our philandering fathers roamed the Earth.

Have to disagree. I think they hate Trump more. He has hijacked their party and made a mockery of it.

I agree with TTP not one of those guys will support Trump. I don't see how they can say they support Trump after all they are saying. The only one I believe on this is Kasich.

If he is the nominee the GOP will punt hoping to hang on to Congress, and reorganize for 2020.

I really think you underestimate the dislike for Hillary, much from her own party.

I don't think she will draw much of the Bernie vote. If he's not the nominee, most of the young vote will stay home.

Then I guess we will have very low voter turnout. NeverTrump won't vote for Hillary and Hillary for jail crew won't vote for Trump.

Disagree. Most are like me, Trump is not my first choice but he's a better choice than Hillary.

I wish Kasich would get more attention. I really like him and thought he did a much better job of getting his message out last night. I love that he is above all the mud slinging that's going on with the other 3.

I agree but wonder if it's only because he's been a non-factor so far.

Kasich is going to come out like a rose and no one will care. Kasich seems to be the only capable presidential nominee right now.

Agreed. But at least I'll care enough to probably change my vote to him tomorrow.

I've been officially swayed tonight. If Marco cared about the Republican Party he needs to drop out and let Kasich run the show. This guy would do wonders

I think I'm with you LOOGY. Been pulling for Rubio for quite some time, but I'm moving on.

It's to the point that the only way they can stop Trump is to have Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich sit down and figure out who's got the best shot, have the other two drop out of the race and endorse the other.

This for me too.

Kasich is the best candidate from either party.

If Trump is the nominee, he would be wise to get Kasich as his VP running mate.

How Kasich is running 4th behind those other candidates says a lot about either the process or the voters themselves. He is clearly the best choice.

I believe that he may be exactly what the country needs, but unfortunately, I'm afraid that we are going to get the President we deserve instead.:scared:

Ted Cruz is like the kid in class that tells the teacher what the other kids do when she's not in the room.

Rubio is the kid that everyone picks on, even the girls.

Donald is the bully kid that nobody likes.

Kasich may be my guy by default.

Kasich feels like the adult stuck at the kids table.

Kasich should have just said "this is demeaning" and walked off the stage. And he declined to finish off the "you're no reagan" line that was set up perfectly for him. Had he delivered it, I think it would have been the "moment" of the debate.

I didn't watch.

I thought it was CNN (or someone else; can't recall) that had it in for candidate Trump.

No I think it's been Fox for a while now...fair or not...like Habib said it was pretty obvious they were on him much harder.

It was unprecedented and blatant what they were doing. They ran multiple clips up on the screen and asked him to respond to them. The only other candidate that had any clips to speak for was John Kasich, towards the end of the debate about a campaign ad that had run. I am with Habib in that this may backfire.
