March 1, 201610 yr Just looked who was drafted in 2013...yuck. It's not that bad. No All Stars yet, but lots of serviceable guys and at least one franchise player. Throw out Bennett and Otto Porter, and you have some really good picks in the top 15. There are a few everyday starters in the bottom 15, including one of the best rim protectors in the NBA in Rudy Gobert. Just a case of Cleveland being Cleveland.

March 1, 201610 yr disagree completely. Bowie gets a really bad rep because of Jordan. Are you saying the same things about all the guys drafted ahead of Curry? Same rule should apply. Bowie was great, just hampered with injuries. When was he ever "great" past high school? Even then, in the high school all star game his senior year he got absolutely embarrassed by Ralph Sampson. Bowie may have been better than he turned out to be if not for the injuries, and even then he still had a couple of serviceable years. But it's more than a stretch to call Bowie a "great" player IMO.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best player in this draft and it's not even close, in my opinion. Dude is a beast.

Giannis is already a great role player. He's 6'11'' and only 21 years old. For the season, he's averaging 16 points per game, 7.6 rebounds & 3.2 assists this year. Recently, he took over the "point forward" position for the Bucks and has 2 triple doubles. In February (only 11 games), he averaged 16.8 points per game, 9.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.5 steals & 1.6 blocks while shooting 48% from the field.

I know it wasn't a great draft, but there were seemingly better choices than him that night.
