What you saw was the ability to catch and dunk. He had no other discernible skills whatsoever...

Clearly, you are not Kidding aside, in that pathetic draft you have to believe the Cavs thought Bennett would be a safe pick to be a role player with less of a chance to bust than the others.

Had Nerlens not hurt himself, he probably would've been the #1 pick. Who knows how Bennett's career would've panned out without the added "#1 pick" pressure.

March 7, 201610 yr Giannis is already a great role player. He's 6'11'' and only 21 years old. For the season, he's averaging 16 points per game, 7.6 rebounds & 3.2 assists this year. Recently, he took over the "point forward" position for the Bucks and has 2 triple doubles. In February (only 11 games), he averaged 16.8 points per game, 9.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.5 steals & 1.6 blocks while shooting 48% from the field. He'll be a perennial All-Star once the LeBron/Melo/DWade/Bosh generation starts to play its age. Giannis registered another triple-double Sunday: 26 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals & 4 blocks. Only 2 turnovers in 42 minutes. Now averaging 19.1 points, 10.8 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.6 steals & 1.9 blocks since the All-Star Break while shooting 49.2% from the field.
